Sarafina Robinson Ndzi, MA

Clinical Intern

Sarafina Robinson (she/her) joins Positive Directions as a clinical intern. She received her Master’s degree in Community Psychology and is currently completing a second Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health & Wellness at New York University. She has years of experience working as a program evaluator in the nonprofit sector.


Sarafina is passionate about inspiring people to lead a healthy and fulfilling life. She uses a person-centered therapeutic approach believing that clients are the experts of their own lives. She draws on a range of techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), strengths-based approaches, psychodynamic theory, and mindfulness-based interventions. Sarafina enjoys meeting people exactly where they are, providing an empathetic listening ear, and supporting individuals as they chart a course to move forward in healthy and meaningful ways.


In her spare time, Sarafina loves to garden, care for her backyard hens, attend jazz jam sessions, and take group exercise classes.
