SWCAA Caregiver Support Program
First and Third Wednesday
From 10:00 am -11:00 am
New Members Welcome
Care giving can be physically and emotionally draining. In caring for a loved one the caregiver often puts their own needs last. This program will help the caregiver find ways to reduce stress and learn how to seek solutions to the challenges of being a caregiver. The Southwestern Connecticut agency on Aging (SWCAA), The Westport Center for Senior Activities (WCSA) and Positive Directions is sponsoring a caregiver support group. The group will meet twice a month.
Terri Giegengack, a counselor from Positive Directions will be facilitating
the support group. Applications for the support group can be obtained from
the front desk at the WCSA. For questions please call Holly Betts, MPS., RD.
at the WCSA (203–341–5096) or by email: hbetts@westportct.gov. Or you can call Positive Directions at 203-227-76644, info@positivedirections.org
