Crossing Paths: Mental Health, Substance use and Vulnerability

Meets Biweekly: Thursday afternoons 5:00-6:00pm

Do you struggle with both mental health and substance use? This counselor-led, open support group provides a safe environment to learn and get support around managing your own mental health struggles and substance use. In this group, members will explore the development of co-occurring disorders by examining two main factors: vulnerability and stress levels. The goal of this group is not only to reflect and explore why and how co-occurring disorders develop in a family system, but also to provide awareness of factors influencing the course of co-occurring disorders over time. Additionally, this group will discuss ways to help build resiliency against stress and what we can do with this information moving forward.
