Positive Directions-The Center for Prevention & Counseling, in conjunction with five local prevention coalitions, is pleased to launch our new Mid-Fairfield Youth Cannabis Prevention Project! This leadership and press event will take place on Thursday, February 27th, 2025, from 8:30-9:30 AM at Westport Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Ave, in the auditorium.
This state grant will enable a multi-town partnership to prevent youth cannabis use in the Greater Norwalk retail market: New Canaan, Norwalk, Weston, Westport, and Wilton. The launch will bring chief elected officials, school superintendents, law enforcement chiefs, and the media together with project staff and coalition leaders to learn how this collaboration will build regional capacity. Your presence and support will be instrumental in amplifying the significance of this initiative and demonstrating our collective commitment to positive change.
