Frank Castorina, MA, LPC (he/him)

Clinical Supervisor

Frank joins Positive Directions with a wealth of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of non-profit and outpatient clinical settings. Through his work, he has instilled a passion and dedication to assisting individuals in developing healthy skills to manage their emotions and empower them to achieve their goals.


He finds the therapeutic relationship as the most important aspect when working with any individual and is what he values most within his work. Frank is a person-centered therapist, utilizing an eclectic theoretical toolbox to appreciate each person holistically and meet them in their current stage of change. His experience encompasses clients dealing with: anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, relationship conflict, school avoidance, isolation, grief/loss, trauma, psychosis, and more.


Frank has his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairfield University and his Bachelor’s in Psychology from Roger Williams University.
